- 65.4 percent of American adults have at least one social media account for personal use
- Women are more likely to have an account with six of the top 7 social networks
- Women are especially more likely to have an account with visual services such as Pinterest and Instagram
- LinkedIn however, sees a higher adoption rate from men than women
