Pinterest has grown at a crazy rate of 145% since January 1st of 2012. Preliminary reports indicate that Pinterest users are more likely to buy than leads from other social networks. I think this is largely because Pinterest is still new and it presents products/designs/ideas/interests in a virtual format that is similar to shopping in a physical store, making it fun to browse.
