Once physical gets metadata we can act upon, with technology being transparent and usable, we'll witness a whole shit in the way we face interactive communication. So, it's not only about the technology, but mostly about the way we're able to embed it in the physical world, with consumers being able to act upon it on a meaningful way (and not in a Minority Report) kind of way. Cyber-utopians didn'd get it all right, but they sure shaped the way we envision today's physical computing. Ubiquitous computing is a trend i’ve followed closely (before the Augmented Reality hype). Once physical gets metadata we can act upon, with technology being transparent and usable, we’ll witness a whole shit in the way we face interactive communication.

So, it’s not only about the technology, but mostly about the way we’re able to embed it in the physical world, with consumers being able to act upon it on a meaningful way (and not in a Minority Report) kind of way.
